Children can have mental, motor and sensory disabilities, or even more than one of those combined, which can lead to some difficulties.


Our strategies are individualised and specific to each child through a psychomotor assessment in order to meet their needs. Below are some examples:

  • Delayed motor skills – we use play, development of their communication and self-confidence, and also emotional control

  • Sensorial impairments – focusing on sensorial and tonic explorations

  • Undeveloped Social skills - emphasis on physical and role playing activities 

  • Autonomy – through decision-making activities and daily tasks

  • Concentration – we focus on helping them to control their emotions and also through passive and active relaxation

  • Space awareness – we use activities that encourage the children to explore their own body and the environment
